Red Ventures Instructional Design

The trainings I co-authored at Red Ventures have reduced photo misuse claims by 93% and saved the company approximately $75,000 annually.

Working closely with the Learning and Development team, I took on the design and project management responsibilities, oversaw production and rollout, and managed implementation communication. These live and recorded trainings, including the two co-authored courses features here, have had a significant impact on Red Ventures and its global workforce.

I led the creative development of two impactful e-learning courses built in Rise to enhance employee skills and uphold Red Ventures' values. The first course, created with my colleagues, focused on photography best practices, covering curating, capturing, and editing photos to help employees produce high-quality, visually stunning work. The second course emphasized inclusive photography, addressing the importance of diversity in subjects, sourcing photographers, editing skin tones, and curating imagery for websites.

These trainings have now become required training for editorial, marketing and creative teams have been completed by more than 400 people to date. Following the launch of the Best Practices in Stock Photography course there was a sharp decline in photo misuse litigation cases.
